Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Kartik Goel As Managing Director To Drive Procurement And Supply Chain Transformation
Mumbai, India, Apr 14: Leading professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Kartik Goel as Managing Director within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in Mumbai, Mr. Goel will focus on strengthening A&M’s procurement and supply chain transformation offerings, with an emphasis on enterprise-wide cost transformation and execution-led impact.
Mr. Goel brings extensive experience driving large-scale procurement and supply chain transformations across India and the United States including cost transformation, operating model redesign, strategic sourcing, end-to-end process improvement, logistics and network strategy, and digital procurement. He has a strong track record of translating operational diagnostics into measurable P&L impact.
His notable engagements include procurement cost take-out and operating model redesign for leading footwear manufacturers and retailers, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) cost reduction for one of the world’s largest food and beverage players, and end-to-end operations diagnostics for a major used-car retailer in the US. He has also led digital twin strategy for a leading quick service restaurant chain.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Goel was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he led operations and supply chain engagements across North America and India and served as North America Operations Pipeline Lead.
