IIT Delhi’s Startup Clensta announces the launch of Super Cleanser’s “India’s first innovative Home Care Solutions with Smart Concentrates” to drive away single use plastic pollution and to save the pocket of households

New Delhi: Clensta, a leading innovative technology startup of IIT Delhi, announced to launch of a range of innovative technology-based “Home Hygiene Category with Smart Concentrates” for 360-degree safety under the brand Clensta. IIT Delhi partnered Clensta extend to provide a base for technologically mastered consumer products to replace substantially priced single-use plastic packaged liquid/spray formulation of consumer products in markets across the globe.

The product launch was attended by Dr. Anil Wali, MD, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi, Prof. Anurag S. Rathore, Dean, Corporate Relations, and the products were unveiled by Guest of Honour Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao, Director, IIT Delhi.

The brand has been a trailblazer for its product formulation and the packaging makes sure that the product is cost-effective and minimizes single-use plastic. The Patent protected product range includes Pigeon Repellent, Hand Wash, Floor Cleaner, Toilet Cleaner, Dish Cleaner, Car Shampoo, Glass and Multi-surface Cleaner, Instant Stain Remover, Vegetable Cleaner, Room Freshener with germ protection formula. The product developers promise 67% saving on household spending for daily living, effective cleaning, and working place upkeep and shall reduce single-use plastic pollution by 95% caused by existing products.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Puneet Gupta Founder and CEO of Clensta said, “The team Clensta in association with IIT Delhi have done this job to bring EBDC technology-based, scientifically tested products to make reach an antimicrobial solution to every stratum of society and reduce plastic footprints on the planet. This EBDC technology can compress any homecare product at a reduced cost” and Cleaning Matlab Clensta. The science behind the product is that it has been formulated with synergistic effects of two or three active ingredients to enhance the efficacy of the system of preventive care. With this technology, the active ingredient will be compressed in the “Smart Concentrate” which can be poured in the infinity bottle, add the tap water, shake it well and here you go with the ready to use household cleaners.”

Speaking after launching the range of Smart Concentrates, Prof. Ramgopal Rao, Director, IIT Delhi said, “It is a moment of pride for IIT Delhi to see indigenous technology commercialization for social and economic development by creating job opportunities, healthy surroundings. We hope that innovative technology reaches higher scales and aids in creating a sustainable environment in making India ‘Atmanirbhar’ and ‘single-use plastic-free nation.”

Prof Rao added, “IIT Delhi has made significant contributions in many areas including research, innovation, and technology development. Commercialization of technology-driven innovative products will strengthen research and innovation in the startup ecosystem of India”.

Clensta, the curator of innovative waterless technology for the wellbeing of society by providing waterless body baths and head cleansing especially the patients in hospitals and soldiers posted in water-scarce hard locations, has now entered in a new category of homecare segment to provide low-cost products with the promise of effective cleaning.”
