Ctrl S and TFMC Donate Laptops to AP Police for Suraksha Initiative

Hyderabad, April 30, 2025: In a significant step toward strengthening cybersecurity infrastructure, the Hyderabad-based Telangana Facility Management Council (TFMC), with support from CtrlS, has donated 50 laptops to the Andhra Pradesh Cyber Police under the Suraksha Initiative. These laptops will be used to train staff and support operations in the ongoing fight against cybercrime.

The laptops were formally handed over to Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS, Director General of Police (DGP), Andhra Pradesh. Also present on the occasion was Sri S.V. Raja Sekhara Babu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada.

The handover took place under the leadership of Mr. Rajiv Trivedi, IPS (Retd.), Director at Hyderabad-based CtrlS Datacenters Ltd., and Mr. Satyanarayana Mathala, President of TFMC. Mr. Gopal Agrawal, Company Secretary, CtrlS, also attended the event.

Both TFMC and CtrlS have also announced plans to donate another 50 laptops to the Telangana Police working in the Cyber Security space, in the first week of June 2025 in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Satyanarayana Mathala stated: “This is a small yet meaningful step toward cybersecurity, which is becoming increasingly crucial given our growing reliance on digital systems and the rising threat of cyberattacks. Our objective is to empower police stations and cyber warriors across both Telugu-speaking states by strengthening their infrastructure.”

The laptops were sourced through CtrlS as part of TFMCs dedicated initiative, Laptops for Cyber Lawkeepers.”

Mr. Mathala further added: “Facility Management (FM) is a global profession practised by over 25 million people. Today, FM is extending its support beyond buildings—toward the digital safety of our communities.”

In the digital era, crime increasingly occurs behind screens. Cybercriminals use sophisticated tools and networks to commit fraud, identity theft, online harassment, and cyber terrorism. Yet, many frontline police personnel lack even the most basic tool—a laptop—to investigate and prevent these crimes effectively.
