80 KM for 80 Years: Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach and Vizag Runners Celebrate Independence Day Through Fitness and Community
Visakhapatnam, Aug 17: Celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, in collaboration with Vizag Runners, brought together the city’s running and fitness community for a special 80 KM running challenge and Independence Day Run. The initiative saw participation from around 100–150 runners, including members of Vizag Runners and the team members of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach.

The 80 KM challenge was conceived as a symbolic tribute to 80 years of India’s independence, with participants coming together to mark the occasion through movement and camaraderie. The Independence Day Run added an energetic dimension to the celebrations, bringing together runners from across the city in the spirit of community and national pride.
