Kolkata, June 25: Reinforcing its commitment to foster entrepreneurship and nurturing the next generation of business leaders, the Rajiva Sinha Foundation has launched Tigers’ Pitch – Bengal’s first entrepreneurship reality show designed to identify, showcase and support promising entrepreneurs from across the state. 

The show was unveiled in the presence of noted actor and show anchor Mr Parambrata ChattopadhyayMr Harshvardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia GroupMr Rajiva Sinha, Chairman, Rajiva Sinha Foundation and other distinguished guests from the business and entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

Hosted by Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Tigers’ Pitch is a 9-episode primetime entrepreneurship reality show that brings together innovation, ambition and investment opportunities for the upcoming business-minded individuals or groups. Across the season, 27 entrepreneurs from Bengal will pitch their startup ideas before a panel of seasoned investors and business leaders in a format that combines compelling human stories with the intensity of real business decision-making. 

The response to the initiative witnessed strong interest from aspiring entrepreneurs across the state. A total of 258 registrations were received, from which 37 entrepreneurs were shortlisted for an intensive bootcamp. Following a rigorous evaluation process, 27 founders were selected to participate in the final show and present their ventures before the investor panel. 

The inaugural season of Tigers’ Pitch has already demonstrated its potential as a catalyst for entrepreneurial growth, facilitating investment commitments of around 50 crore for participating ventures. The platform has not only provided founders with access to capital but has also enabled valuable connections with investors, mentors and industry leaders, helping accelerate the growth journey of emerging businesses from Bengal.

The show highlights the growing importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic development and job creation and emphasises the need for stronger platforms that encourage innovation, risk-taking and enterprise among young Indians.

The platform has brought together a strong mix of investors, judges and founder guests from across the startup and business ecosystem. The investor line-up includes representatives from TiE Kolkata and TiE Dehradun, Indian Angel Network, Goa Angels Network, LVX Ventures, Recur Capital and JIS Group, alongside HNI investors, founders and business leaders from organisations such as Anmol Feeds, Ideal Insurance, Q Industrial Park and Durable Security. The judging panel features C S Ghosh, Chairman of Bandhan Group; P J Agarwal, Chancellor of Neotia University; Dr Vivek Rai, CEO of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park; Prof. C D Mitra, Mentor & Coach; and Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group. Founder guests such as Debaditya Chaudhury of Chowman and Sagar Daryani of Wow! Momo further enrich the platform with real-world entrepreneurial insight. 

Managed by Whiteboard Media the show will be aired on Zee 24 Ghanta every Saturday & Sunday at 4:30 pm from the end of July 2026Tigers’ Pitch aims to strengthen Bengal’s startup ecosystem by connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with mentorship, visibility and growth opportunities, while bringing entrepreneurship into mainstream conversations and creating greater recognition for emerging founders and innovative business ideas.
