Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences Appoints CA Tushar Joshi as Finance Controller
Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences is delighted to announce the appointment of CA Tushar Joshi as Finance Controller. Bringing over a decade of experience in finance, Tushar has strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, taxation, budgeting, and business partnering, along with extensive exposure to the hospitality sector.
Prior to joining Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, Tushar was associated with Asian Hotels East Limited, the owning company of Hyatt Regency Kolkata, where he served as the Corporate Finance Manager. In this role, he managed key corporate finance functions, working closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and Managing Directors. His responsibilities included overseeing financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and compliance for a large-scale enterprise. A qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Tushar also holds an MBA in Finance, further strengthening his foundation in financial management, governance, and strategic planning.
Throughout his career, Tushar has contributed significantly to merger and acquisition initiatives, supported IPO-related processes, and managed high-value funding documentation. He has also played an instrumental role in standardising financial reporting frameworks, strengthening internal controls, and leading MIS reporting, variance analysis, and investment portfolio management in line with regulatory and audit requirements.
In his new role, Tushar will lead the hotel’s financial operations, focusing on driving profitability, enhancing internal controls, ensuring compliance, and optimising cash flow management. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making aligned with the hotel’s strategic goals.
Outside of work, Tushar enjoys sports and values spending quality time with family and friends.
