National Latte Art Championship Set to Brew Excitement at India International Coffee Festival
The prestigious National Latte Art Championship (NLAC), organized by Kaapi Machines under the leadership of World Coffee Events (WCE), is set to take place from April 25-27, 2025, at the India International Coffee Festival in Bengaluru.
This highly anticipated event, which has already completed preliminary rounds in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru during October-November 2024, serves as a platform to recognize and showcase the exceptional talent of India’s budding baristas. The semi-finals and finals will bring together the country’s most skilled latte artists to compete for the honor of representing India at the World Latte Art Championship in Geneva, Switzerland in June 2025.
Competitors in the semi-finals will create six artistic beverages, including two sets of matching free-pour lattes, one set of matching free-pour macchiatos, and one set of matching designer patterns. The top six performers will advance to the finals round to determine the national champion.
Previous editions of the NLAC have drawn over 300 participants from leading cafés including Starbucks, Third Wave Coffee, McCafe, Subko, Blue Tokai, and Javaphile, among others.
