Alkem launches Renocia Exo, India’s first patented Ginsenoside Exosome-based hair growth serum

Mumbai, 09th September 2026: Alkem Laboratories Ltd. (BSE: 539523, NSE: ALKEM, “Alkem” and its subsidiaries) today announced the launch of Renocia Exo™, a next-generation hair regeneration therapy developed to support the health and vitality of the hair follicle through a comprehensive scientific approach.

Hair loss has emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing dermatological concerns, affecting not only ageing adults but also an increasing number of younger individuals due to genetics, lifestyle changes, environmental stressors and evolving health patterns. While treatment options have expanded over the years, many continue to focus on a limited aspect of the hair growth cycle, even though hair loss is now understood to be driven by a complex interplay of biological mechanisms.

Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Singh, Managing Director, Alkem, said, “The science of hair restoration has evolved significantly over the last decade, and so has our understanding of what drives progressive hair thinning. It is influenced by multiple biological processes, including follicular miniaturization, altered cellular signalling, oxidative stress, inflammation, and changes within the follicular microenvironment. This evolving understanding calls for equally evolved therapeutic solutions. With Renocia Exo™, we bring together multiple regenerative technologies to support the biology of the hair follicle in a single daily therapy.”

Unlike conventional topical approaches that primarily focus on stimulating visible hair growth, Renocia Exo™ has been developed to support several interconnected biological processes associated with healthy hair follicle function.

The formulation also focuses on supporting multiple signalling pathways involved in hair follicle activity while promoting a favourable environment for healthier, stronger hair over time. Its lightweight, cosmetically elegant composition is free from alcohol, sulphates, silicones parabens and mineral oil, making it suitable for regular use as part of dermatologist-guided hair loss management.

With the launch of Renocia Exo™, Alkem continues to strengthen its dermatology portfolio by translating emerging scientific insights into practical therapeutic innovations that address evolving patient needs.
