PHE Department, Haryana appoints REPL for Water Supply Project in 122 Villages
Haryana / Delhi | 11th March 2025: The Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Haryana, has appointed REPL (Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd.) to prepare DPR for Canal based Water Supply Scheme in 122 villages of the Nangal Chaudhary constituency. The project aims to increase the water supply from 40 liters per capita per day (lpcd) to 70 lpcd. These developments will ensure a continuous and efficient water supply system for the region.
Mr. Pradeep Misra, CMD-REPL, stated, “Haryana has long been a key agricultural hub, and access to reliable water supply is critical for both rural households and farming communities. Strengthening water infrastructure through this project will not only improve drinking water availability but also support irrigation, ensuring sustainable agricultural productivity. Efficient water management is essential for maintaining Haryana’s leadership in agriculture while meeting the growing demands of its population. With extensive expertise in water infrastructure projects, including those under the Jal Jeevan Mission, REPL is well-equipped to ensure the effective planning and execution of this initiative, aligning with the government’s vision to enhance rural water supply.”
Mr. Prabhakar Kumar, Head – Government Consulting, REPL said, “REPL will conduct a detailed assessment of the existing water infrastructure, design efficient hydraulic systems, and implement advanced engineering solutions to strengthen the distribution network across 122 villages. We will develop a structured execution plan, including pipeline optimization, lifting station enhancements, and electrical-mechanical integrations to ensure uninterrupted water supply. Our approach prioritizes sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability, aligning with the government’s goal of improving rural water access.”
Beyond the physical infrastructure, the project also incorporates electrical and mechanical enhancements such as the installation of motor pumps, transformers, DG sets, and high-capacity cables to ensure uninterrupted operations. Structural and design improvements will be implemented in compliance with technical standards, ensuring a long-lasting and durable water supply system that meets the growing needs of the region.
