Moradabad – November 13, 2024: The Handicrafts and Carpet Sector Skill Council (HCSSC), a prominent body recognized by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), partnered with India’s leading e-commerce marketplace, Flipkart, to organize an orientation workshop designed to empower artisans to become entrepreneurs through e-commerce. Focused on economic empowerment through digital commerce, this program was attended by Mr. R.P. Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner of Moradabad, and took place at Marke Impex Pvt. Ltd.

Emphasizing digital empowerment, the workshop provided over 50 artisans with insights on product listing, efficient logistics, and strategic business growth. Through interactive sessions, participants gained practical knowledge of e-commerce essentials to expand their reach and grow their businesses. Aligned with HCSSC’s commitment to fostering economic independence within regional communities, this partnership represents a significant step in helping artisans achieve visibility and opportunities in digital commerce. The workshop aimed to equip artisans with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in the digital marketplace, empowering them to reach broader markets and achieve economic growth.
