Enviro celebrates Milkha Singh’s birth anniversary with The Flying Sikh Midnight Run

Gurugram: Enviro—the facility management arm of the Vatika Group celebrated the birth anniversary of late Shri Milka Singh by organizing The Flying Sikh Midnight Run (#mainbhiMilkha) at Vatika INXT in Gurgaon. The grand marathon run witnessed participation from Delhi NCR people who cherished the life of the great athlete by participating in various categories (5K,10K, 21K, and 36K). The event began at 12 am in midnight and culminated at 4 am in the morning. Refreshments were also served to participants post-completion of the event. The marathon was organised in conjunction with DHAAVAK. There was free registration for marathon. Midnight Run was flagged off by DCP Manesar Mr. Manbir Singh.

We believe that such small efforts are important to thank the legendary athlete whose life has been a guiding light for generations, and continue to motivate all of us to do more for the country, especially in the field of sports. We also want to thank each and everyone for making this event a success, and hope that it will encourage more people to be active in sports for healthy and fit India” said Lt Col. The 4-hour long grand marathon run was held between Vatika Town Square-I, Sector-82 and Vatika INXT, New Gurugram. It must be noted that Enviro has been continuously making efforts for a fit India. During the pandemic, it also organized and supported many Covid-vaccination drives at various locations and also distributed medicines and other essentials to the needy during the pandemic as a part of its commitments for a healthy society.
