Delhi Public School Presents the 2024 History Festival, Exploring the Theme “Education Through Monuments”

Gurgaon, 8th April 2024: DPS Sector 45, Gurgaon in association with JHF & M.S.M.S. II Museum Trust, proudly presents Gurgaon History Festival 2024- Education through Monuments, a unique initiative aimed at bringing immersive learning experiences through history while fostering a sense of pride in our culture. The event will occur on April 5th and 6th, 2024, at the Science Park, Gurgaon.

With the participation of 32 schools in the Gurgaon History Festival 2024, the theme of Education through Monuments assures to offer a profoundly enriching and enlightening experience for both students and educators. Each participating school will meticulously choose a monument and ingeniously portray its significance through an array of mediums including dance, music, theatre, street plays, mime, and poetry. This dynamic approach promises to breathe life into history, captivating audiences with its vibrancy and engagement.

The participation of 32 schools enriches the cultural exchange and learning experience for all involved. This collaboration highlights the significance of heritage education in shaping young minds and fostering a deeper connection to our collective history.

Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS Sector 45, Gurgaon, expresses her excitement for the event, affirming, “Pedagogy is undergoing transformation, and education is evolving. Various monuments have been selected for exploration by schools, including Raza Library; Bhangarh Fort; Red Fort; Sher Mandal in Purana Qila, Delhi; Albert Hall Museum, Jaipur; Rajon Ki Baoli; and the Golden Temple in Chittorgarh Fort. Gurgaon History Festival 2024 promises to be a celebration of learning, heritage, and cultural diversity.
