Actors share heartfelt surprises for this International Mother’s Day!
Mothers serve as our guiding light, steering us in the right direction and empowering us to soar to greater heights. She is, above all, the one who has always had our back! On International Mother’s Day, &TV actors plan to make their mothers feel special. These include Vyom Thakkar (Young Atal, Atal), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai).
Vyom Thakkar, Young Atal from Atal, shares, “My mother is my superhero. She accompanies me on set for shooting yet coordinates for all household chores and ensures that everything at home is managed seamlessly. She also takes care of my and brother’s studies and helps with his acting career as well. Her dedication inspires me. Her positivity makes me believe in myself and achieve greater success. I am determined to surprise her this Mother’s Day. Alongside my onscreen mother (Neha Joshi who plays Krishna Devi in Atal), I am learning a song to dedicate to her. With the help of my father and brother, we are also planning a special dinner outing and shall call for all her favourite dishes. To my mom and all the remarkable supermoms worldwide, I wish a Happy Mother’s Day!”
Geetanjali Mishra, Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “My mother has played a pivotal role in shaping the person I have become. She imparted the importance of being yourself and cultivated in me the values of compassion and humility. I owe her an immense debt of gratitude for her guidance. This year, I’m committed to making Mother’s Day truly exceptional for her. My busy shooting schedule has kept me from spending quality time with her recently, so I have planned to devote the entire day to her and my nephews. We will begin by visiting the temple she loves visiting. Then, we will head to the beach, knowing her fondness for the sea and sand. Back home, I will prepare her favourite meal, as she prefers home-cooked food. Since she’s a fantastic cook, I hope my culinary efforts earn me some praise (laughs). I am eagerly looking forward to a delightful Mother’s Day celebration. Happy Mother’s Day to all the remarkable moms out there!”
Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, “Mothers are the wellspring of inspiration, offering boundless love and invaluable life lessons. My mother stands as a guiding light, shaping my personal and professional paths. As she is in Mumbai for Mother’s Day, I am determined to make the day special for her. We might opt for a dinner outing or host a cosy gathering at home, as she enjoys meeting new people, and my friends are eager to meet her. I believe good food, cake cutting, and engaging conversations would make for the perfect celebration. I have also prepared a surprise gift for her, keeping it under wraps for now. To all the mothers out there, a very happy Mother’s Day!”
