A Celebration of Hindi at CIMP Auditorium

Patna, 25 September 2025  – Under the joint auspices of Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) and Sadbhavna Samiti, a grand Kavi Sammelan (Poetry Conference) was organized at the CIMP auditorium to promote and celebrate the Hindi language. The event was graced by the Chairman of the Food Corporation of India, IAS Ashutosh Agnihotri, who attended as the Chief Guest.

Supported by the State Bank of India (SBI), this literary gathering brought together acclaimed poets from across the country. Notably, Ramayan Dhar Dwivedi from Ayodhya and Sanjeev Mukesh from Delhi enthralled the audience with their powerful poetic renditions.

The program began with a Saraswati Vandana (invocation to the Goddess of Knowledge) by lyricist Ramayan Dhar Dwivedi. Following this, Sanjeev Mukesh captivated the audience with his soulful muktaks and songs. One of his impactful verses was:

“Chunar dhani, aparimit sabhyata, Ganga-Kalindi se,
Hamari maa ke chehre ki chamak, muskaan bindi se.
Padho English, likho Chinese, bolo Farsi lekin,
Hamare desh Hindustan ki pehchaan ‘Hindi’ se.”

(Translation: The culture we wear is infinite like the rivers Ganga and Yamuna; the glow and smile of our mother come from her ‘bindi’. Study English, write Chinese, speak Persian if you will, but the identity of our country, Hindustan, comes from Hindi.)

He further touched hearts with his poetry series titled “Gaon Ka Ladka” (The Village Boy), resonating deeply with the audience.

Next, Ramayan Dhar Dwivedi mesmerized listeners with his inspirational songs, notably:

“Jeevan mein komal rehna, kamzor nahi hona,
Tum patang ki uljhi-uljhi dor nahi hona.”

(Translation: Remain gentle in life, but never weak; you’re not a tangled string of a kite.)

The Chief Guest, IAS Ashutosh Agnihotri, who presided over the event, also showcased his literary prowess by reciting several impactful Hindi compositions. His rendition of:

“Jo bandha nahi, vah Shankar hai”

(He who is unbound, is Shankar)

This received thunderous applause as he glorified Lord Shiva’s essence of freedom and power. His poem on Karna also ignited a sense of valor and inspiration among the audience.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by CIMP’s Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Kumod Kumar. The gathering was attended by several dignitaries, including Prof. Vibhas Kumar and Aditinandan from Bihar Sanskritik Jagran, among others.
