Feb, 11: Gallant Sports has successfully completed the construction of a FIFA-standard football turf ground at Anini Stadium, marking a landmark achievement in sports infrastructure development in India’s north-eastern region. The football turf ground has been developed to meet international standards and FIFA Quality benchmarks, offering professional-level playing conditions while promoting grassroots football development. The facility features a high-performance artificial turf system, advanced base construction for durability, and a robust drainage system to guarantee all-weather playability. Using FIFA-approved synthetic turf with UV-stabilized fibres, the field is designed to withstand high-altitude climates and varied weather conditions. A shock- absorbing elastic layer has been installed for player safety, complemented by engineered stone base and drainage layers to ensure longevity and stability.
