Discover Spiritual Insights and Community Connections at the Gitoapadesh Summit’s Third Edition in Kanha Shanti Vanam

New Delhi, Dec 05: The much-awaited Global Gitopadesh Summit which is in its third edition will be held on 6 December commemorating the auspicious day of Gita Jayanti at Kanha Shanti Vanam – the headquarters of Heartfulness in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The annual event which attracts participants from various corners of the country across different age groups beginning at 5 years to adults is aimed at imparting the timeless wisdom of Bhagavad Gita and fostering inner peace, resilience and ethical living. This year’s summit will be graced by the august presence of Shri Jishnu Dev Varma – Governor of Telangana and Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. This year’s summit is themed as ‘See the Divinity in Your Heart’.



 

The Gitopadesh Summit will witness enthusiastic participation in Sloka Recitation, Storytelling, Poster-making activities for children. Insightful Talks by eminent speakers, Panel discussions and cultural extravaganza will be the chief highlights. Participants will have access to free stay at the serene location of Kanha Shanti Vanam which also houses the largest meditation centre in the world.

 

Revered Daaji – Guide of Heartfulness and President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission said about the summit,

The Bhagavad Gita is not a religious doctrine, but is a way of life. It belongs to the entire mankind. We hope that the Gitopadesh summit will bring the inner transformation in terms of dealing with the life circumstances, taking on the challenges while maintaining equanimity, understand gain an ability to discriminate between the right and wrong, dutifulness and equanimity.

 

The Gitopadesh courses along with Heartfulness practices foster in children collective consciousness and mould them into future leaders.

 

The Event is expected to be attended by close to 2000 children from Telangana and rest of India representing close to 25-30 Schools. The event also marks the culmination of the Global Sloka Competition that saw participation of more than 5000 children across the globe and close to 150 Schools. The finalists of the Competition shall be awarded during the Event at Kanha Shanti Vanam.
