Yashoda Medicity Successfully Treats First Patient with Critical Cardiac Condition
Ghaziabad, July 07th, 2025: Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram, successfully treated its first patient, a 50-year-old male who arrived at the hospital after having chest pain. He chose Yashoda Medicity after hearing about its advanced infrastructure and team of experienced cardiac specialists.
The patient had been dealing with severe chest pain, breathlessness, and weakness for the past week. After admission, he was diagnosed with Recent ACS (NSTEMI) following a thorough evaluation. He was then shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on July 2, 2025. Coronary angiography was performed on the world’s most advanced cath lab system, the Philips Azurion 7, 7M12, which revealed a complete occlusion with a large thrombus in the Large LPDA, indicating single-vessel disease.
The case was managed by Dr. Asit Khanne (MBBS, MD, DM, FACC, FESC, FSCAI, FISC), Principal Consultant & Director – Cath Lab, and Dr. Prashant Singh Walia, Consultant, Internal Medicine, who, along with the cardiology team, promptly performed a successful coronary angioplasty via the right femoral route using an EBU 6F guidewire. Two drug-eluting stents (DES) were successfully placed, restoring full blood flow with excellent results. The patient was discharged two days after the procedure in a stable condition, fully conscious, and well-oriented. This case reflects Yashoda Medicity’s ongoing commitment to providing advanced cardiac care with timely intervention and clinical expertise.
Dr. Asit Khanna, Principal Consultant & Director – Cath Lab: Yashoda Medicity, said, “This case demonstrates the importance of timely diagnosis and swift medical intervention in managing complex cardiac emergencies.
