D.J. Sanghvi College to Organise Blood Donation Drive on February 26, 2026
Mumbai, Feb 21: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Vile Parle (West), is organising its Annual Blood Donation Drive on Thursday, 26th February 2026. The event will be organised at the college premises located opposite Cooper Hospital, making the initiative especially meaningful in serving nearby medical needs.
The drive is being conducted with the objective of encouraging students, faculty members, staff, and the local community to contribute towards saving lives through voluntary blood donation. The event reflects the institution’s continued commitment to social responsibility and community service. contributing meaningfully to society.”
The 2026 drive carries the inspiring theme of the Indian Defence Forces, symbolising courage, sacrifice, and service to the nation. The initiative seeks to honour the spirit of the armed forces by encouraging citizens to step forward and serve the country through this noble act.
The camp will be organised in collaboration with certified medical professionals and an authorised blood bank to ensure safe, hygienic, and medically supervised donation procedures. Prior to donation, all participants will undergo necessary health screenings, including blood pressure and haemoglobin checks, to ensure donor safety and well-being.
