Pradhan ji ki lauki ka yeh haal?” Meanwhile, at Lucknow’s buzzing 1090 Chauraha, people, while enjoying the gastronomic delights the famous area offers, were found snapping photos with the now-iconic lauki—looking like it got a raw deal in Panchayat’s spicy political thali.

Not just the quirky installations—people could feel the heat of Phulera’s elections as huge billboards cropped up flaunting slogans like: “Banrakas ka Vaar, Ya Pradhan ka Prahaar?” and “Ek, Do Teen, Kaun Hogi Phulera Ki Queen?”.
