Sampark Foundation and EY GDS unveil the Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block Program
Ghaziabad/Noida, 28 February 2024– Sampark Foundation, in collaboration with EY GDS, has announced [AKP1] the launch of the Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block program. The initiative is aimed at improving the quality of primary school education in the districts of Ghaziabad and Noida.
The Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block program will enhance the scholastic learning outcomes among students across 868 primary schools [AKP2] that come under the block jurisdiction. The project entails providing training to primary schoolteachers[AKP3] on the usage of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) designed by Sampark Foundation, and in the use of digital learning aids designed to help teachers improve their overall teaching skills and tutoring methodology.
The Sampark Smart Shala Smart Block initiative is not just about teaching but about creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages children to explore and learn. Under the program, 240 Sampark TVs and 150 LED TVs, along with 868 math kits, are being provided by Sampark Foundation and EY GDS[AKP4] . A total of 868 teachers will receive specialized training over two days under the program, focusing on the usage of Sampark’s innovative Mathematics Kit and the Sampark TV device. The program aims to improve the learning outcomes of approximately 100,000+ [AKP5] students in the first year.
