MIT-WPU Sees Strong Placement Growth; 220 Students Land INR10 LPA Deals
Mumbai, Feb 4: At a time when global economic volatility and cautious hiring sentiment continue to impact campus recruitment across the country, MIT World Peace University Pune, has recorded a strong and resilient placement performance, underscoring sustained industry confidence in its talent pool.

During the 2025 placement season, over 730 recruiters participated in campus hiring marking a significant rise from the previous year and positioning MIT-WPU among the institutions with one of the widest recruiter footprints in the current market environment.
Strong outcomes amid market headwinds
Despite industry-wide uncertainty, over 220 students secured job offers with annual packages exceeding INR 10 lakh, reflecting outcome-led success rather than mere recruiter participation. Hiring spanned core and emerging sectors including IT, engineering, consulting, analytics, manufacturing, automotive, FMCG and BFSI, ensuring diversified career pathways for graduates.
Industry validation through marquee recruiters
Leading global and Indian employers such as Amazon, Deloitte, JP Morgan, NVIDIA, Accenture, TCS and Siemens were among the key recruiters this season. Importantly, nearly 90 per cent of participating organisations were repeat recruiters, signalling long-term industry trust and satisfaction with graduate performance.
Internships translating into full-time roles
A notable highlight of the season was the strong conversion of internships into Pre-Placement Offers Employers reported positive feedback on students’ performance during live projects and industry assignments, reinforcing MIT-WPU’s focus on workplace readiness and applied learning.
Early momentum for 2026 placements
The positive momentum has extended into the 2026 placement cycle, which is currently underway. More than 437 companies have already completed recruitment, with the highest offer touching INR 46 lakh per annum so far. Additionally, 110 students have already secured packages of INR 10 lakh per annum and above, indicating continued demand for MIT-WPU graduates even before the season peaks.
