Bengaluru: 26th July 2023: The Lakshminarayana Global Centre of Excellence (LGCE), founded by global violin icon Dr. L. Subramaniam and multi-platinum legendary playback singer Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, is pleased to announce its recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka Rajya Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Dance Performing Arts University. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the field of music performance and education, enabling LGCE to offer Certificate, Diploma, B.A. Honours, and MPA courses in music.

By combining the practical learning approach of the gurukul system with the theoretical foundation of university education, LGCE aims to develop outstanding performers and music educators.

One key feature of the program is the flexibility it offers students. The classes will be conducted in the evenings and over weekends, allowing participants to concurrently pursue another degree. This unique arrangement ensures that students can benefit from a double degree graduation, broadening their academic and professional horizons.

Students will learn Indian Music, music production and sound engineering, social media and entertainment law, and music education. In addition to the comprehensive curriculum, students will have the privilege of closely working with the prestigious Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival. This event serves as a platform for budding musicians to interact with and learn from legendary performers, fostering a rich and immersive musical experience.

Enrolments for the B.A. Honours program is currently open and will remain so until July 31st. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the LGCE website for detailed information about the courses and the enrolment process.

Furthermore, LGCE is excited to announce the launch of a 30-hour/12-week basic introductory course and 6 months regular introductory certificate course, in collaboration with Maharani Lakshmi Ammani College, Bangalore, starting from August 20th. These specialized programs will provide students with focused training in specific areas of music.

The Lakshminarayana Global Centre of Excellence takes pride in its previous successful collaborations. It has already completed three batches of B.A. Honors Music and one batch of M.A. Global Music in collaboration with Jain University, Bangalore. Additionally, LGCE is successfully completing the second batch of B.A. Honors Music and M.P.A. Global Music with Vishwakarma University, Pune.
