IIM Bodh Gaya Advances Towards Global Excellence with AACSB South Asia Head Visit
Bodh Gaya, August 07, 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya took a significant step toward AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation with the visit of Mr. Prathap Das, Regional Head for South Asia, AACSB, on 6th August, 2025. The visit provided essential insights into global quality standards and effective academic practices, further strengthening our commitment to excellence in management education.
Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, welcomed Mr. Prathap Das and led a focused dialogue involving key accreditation team members and administrative leaders of the Institute. Discussions centred on the Initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER), alignment with AACSB’s 2020 Business Accreditation Standards, ongoing progress reports, expectations surrounding the Peer Review Team (PRT) visit, and the critical role of continuous improvement in fostering institutional excellence.
Following the deliberations, Mr. Das was given a comprehensive tour of the IIM Bodh Gaya campus, including the Pragyata Learning Resource Centre, academic block, and key facilities. The visit offered him a first-hand perspective on the Institute’s infrastructure, academic readiness, and commitment to international quality standards.
The visit affirms the Institute’s commitment to academic rigour, research excellence, and alignment with globally benchmarked standards in business and management education. This milestone plays a significant role in IIM Bodh Gaya’s pursuit of AACSB accreditation, as it continues to develop mindful and socially responsible business leaders.
