CIMP Welcomes Changemakers: Join Us for the 2025 IIC Regional Meet on Innovation!
CIMP hosted IIC Regional meet 2025 a dynamic gathering designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), innovators, and ecosystem enablers.

The meet was organized by Innovation Cell, AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The Chief Guest was Mr. Ajay Yadav, Secretary of the Education Department in Bihar.
The dignitaries present were Mr. Akhilesh Kumar, Assistant Director, AICTE, Prof. Dr. Rana Singh, Director, CIMP, Kumod Kumar, CAO, CIMP, Prof. T. G. Sitharam, the Chairman of AICTE was addressing online and many more.
The event started with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries and a welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Rana Singh, Director of CIMP said
“True innovation goes beyond generating ideas, it is about driving meaningful impact. At CIMP, our mission is to empower both students and educators to channel creativity into solutions that benefit society. The IIC Regional Meet will help all the participants, academician, startups, students of various schools and colleges showcase their innovation to the world. We are honored to spearhead this transformative movement in Bihar.”
Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE said,
“The IIC Regional Meet is a catalyst for nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering institutions and students to drive India’s vision of becoming a global leader in startups and innovation.”
Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Yadav, Secretary of the Education Department in Bihar said,
“Innovation should not remain a mere buzzword. We must embrace it not only in our thinking but also in execution, delivering solutions that truly make a difference. Our responsibility is to work hard to become job creators rather than just job seekers. To realize the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, India must rise from being the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem to becoming number one. We must encourage research and transform our campuses into living laboratories, because innovation is not optional; it is essential.”
Mr. Akhilesh Kumar, Assistant Director, AICTE said, “The IIC Regional Meet reflects our collective commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering young minds to transform ideas into impactful solutions for a developed nation.”
There were 28 stalls of Product Demonstration & Exhibition by YUKTI Innovations/Startups, Swadesh Udyami-Bazaar showcasing “Vocal for Local” entrepreneurial stalls.
There was Knowledge Sharing & Training Tracks by IIC Institutions, Training of Trainers (ToT) for Innovation Ambassadors, Two Master classes for YUKTI Challenge Innovators & Startup Founders, TRL, IRL & MRL, Legal Entity Compliance. Also one-to-one Mentoring & Pitching Sessions with ecosystem enablers.
The participants included Asansol Engineering College (108), Sharda University, Gautam Budh Nagar, Government Engineering College Palamu, Dumka Engineering College, Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Patna, Government Engineering College Ramgarh, Ramgarh Engineering College, Birla Institute of Technology, and other Government Engineering Colleges. In addition to these institutions, schools such as DPS, Radiant, School of Creative Learning, St. Joseph Children’s School, Manjual, Shakti Shanti Academy, and AMAS enthusiastically showcased their innovative ideas, reflecting great zeal and creativity.
The top three innovators of the IIC Regional Meet were recognized for their outstanding creativity and impactful ideas. Krish Mitra from Delhi Public School, Patna secured the first position for his innovative project, while the second place was awarded to “Safety Cannual” from the School of Creative Learning, showcasing a practical solution with strong potential. The third position went to “Near Social,” developed by Yukti Innovators from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), reflecting the collaborative spirit and ingenuity of young innovators. Together, these winners exemplify the drive and vision needed to strengthen India’s innovation ecosystem.
At the Udyami Bazaar, the top innovators were celebrated for their entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. Natural Bee emerged as the first winner, impressing with its innovative approach and sustainable vision. The second position was secured by Anand Jyoti, whose idea reflected both practicality and promise. The third place went to Ghaas Paat, showcasing unique thinking and commitment to grassroots innovation. Together, these winners highlighted the vibrant energy of the Udyami Bazaar and the potential of young entrepreneurs to drive meaningful change.
In the IIC Poster Presentation, the first position was awarded to Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, showcasing their creativity and innovative approach. The second place went to BIT Patna, reflecting strong ideas and impactful presentation. The third position was secured by Government Engineering College, Palamu, Jharkhand, highlighting the enthusiasm and talent of young innovators. Together, these winners demonstrated the vibrant spirit of innovation and the commitment of institutions to fostering entrepreneurial thinking.
The top three Innovation Ambassadors were honored for their exceptional contributions in fostering creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Dr. Pooja Kumari, Dr. Mukesh Singh, and Dr. Animesh Sarkar stood out as leading figures who have actively promoted innovation-driven initiatives and inspired students and institutions to embrace a culture of research and problem-solving.
