Mumbai, Dec 08th: The fourth edition of WAGATHON 4.0, a community wagathon celebrating pets and local welfare initiatives, brought together pet parents, residents and animal welfare supporters at S.B. Somani Park, Cuffe Parade. The event was led by former Corporators Harshita A. Narwekar and Makrand Narwekar, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Mumbai SOBO, supported by the Federation of Cuffe Parade, My Dream Colaba, and CALM.
The gathering featured pet-friendly activities, NGO stalls and live performances by Vikas Tandon (feat. Juhee B) & Band and Back Track, adding a vibrant musical element to the morning.
Speaking at the event, Harshita A. Narwekar said:Wagathon 4.0 is about community and compassion. Our focus is to raise awareness and support for our community pets—especially for sterilisation, feeding and encouraging a more inclusive attitude towards strays. This event shows what is possible when residents, associations and volunteers come together for a common cause, she further added  “As public representatives, we ensure permissions, clean spaces and smooth coordination so that community events like these can continue to thrive across the city,”
WAGATHON 4.0 once again highlighted the strong civic culture of Cuffe Parade and Colaba, reinforcing the neighbourhood’s commitment to animal welfare and community-led engagement.
