This appointment signifies Umiya Buildcon’s resolve to strengthen its Research & Development ecosystem with an emphasis on Design & Make in India and the development of an indigenous Network OS and hardware stack.
In his new role, Mr. Prabhugouda Biradar will guide Umiya Buildcon’s overall technology direction by strengthening core engineering processes, modernising the product development cycle, and building a capable, future-ready technical organisation. His experience will help accelerate innovation across the MRO-TEK product portfolio and elevate the company’s ability to deliver reliable and intelligent communication platforms.
Mr. Prabhugouda Biradar is an accomplished technology leader with more than 30 years of experience across distributed systems, carrier-grade Network Operating Systems (IP Routing, MPLS-TE, IPv6, Security, SDN/NFV, 4G/5G) and AdTech platforms. He has led the development of five generations of telecom Network OS and successfully taken mission-critical programmes from concept to global deployment. A postgraduate in Software Systems from BITS Pilani, he has held senior leadership roles at Philips, Cisco Systems and Huawei, where he served as Vice President for the Network Business Unit and AdTech. He has also mentored early-stage companies in Causal AI and AdTech, contributing to advancements in automation, intelligence and platform engineering.
