Tumbledry Empowers Women with Franchisee Business Opportunities and Employment

Tumbledry, India’s leading laundry services provider, is proud to announce its commitment to empowering women through franchisee business opportunities and employment. The company has achieved a significant milestone by having 22.6% of its stores managed by female franchise partners out of its 500 stores across India. This number is significantly higher compared to other industries, making Tumbledry one of the few companies with a higher proportion of female business owners.

In addition, Tumbledry has recently launched a program to hire, train and employ female manpower in various roles like store managers, washerwomen, and helpers. Within just two months, the company has successfully trained and deployed 131 female staff in its stores, constituting roughly 11% of the total manpower at Tumbledry stores. By the end of 2025, Tumbledry plans to increase this number to 30-35% and employ around 3500 female staff at its stores.
