Students Showcase Entrepreneurial Skill at BBA Haat

Noida, Feb 24: Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organized a vibrant “BBA Haat” as an initiative of the BBA Department to integrate management education with practical exposure. The event was held at the institute’s Sector-62 campus, where students enthusiastically set up around 40 stalls showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and managerial capabilities.

Through BBA Haat, students demonstrated creativity, innovation, and business acumen. Stalls featuring food and beverages, beauty and grooming products, music and entertainment, fun games, and creative home décor items made from recycled materials attracted significant attention and participation.

Appreciating the efforts of the students, IMS Noida President Mr. Rajeev Kumar Gupta stated that in today’s competitive era, theoretical knowledge alone is not sufficient; practical exposure is equally important. He emphasized that BBA Haat provides students with an opportunity to understand real market dynamics, analyze consumer behavior, and learn the nuances of financial management.

During the event, Director General Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Advisor Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Sharma, Dean Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Saxena, and BBA Head of Department Dr. Ramesh Kumar, along with other faculty members, visited the stalls and appreciated the students’ efforts.

Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan highlighted that such initiatives help in developing leadership qualities, teamwork, financial management skills, and communication abilities, which are essential for students’ future careers. Prof. (Dr.) J.K. Sharma remarked that the event provided a strong platform for students to showcase their talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit, adding that the participants effectively demonstrated management skills, innovation, and collaborative teamwork.

Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Saxena stated that the primary objective of the event was to provide students with real-time market exposure and inspire them to become self-reliant and innovative. Dr. Ramesh Kumar informed that the key aim of the program was to acquaint students with marketing skills and creative business presentation techniques. He further shared that the successful execution of BBA Haat was carried out under the joint leadership of faculty members Prof. Yatika Rastogi and Prof. Rachna Gupta.
