Panipat Pioneers the Future of Technical Textiles: Unveiling Vision 2047 at Chintan Shivir

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, will organize a high-level Chintan Shivir on Friday, November 28, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at Geeta Sarovar Portico, GT Road, Panipat. The event is themed: “Panipat’s Textile Industry’s Technical Transformation: High Value, Better Tomorrow.”

The Shivir is designed to benefit a wide spectrum of stakeholders—including MSME units, business owners, startups, decision-makers, labs, hotels, hospitals, recyclers, and educational institutes—keen to leverage the growth potential of the technical textiles sector.

With its strong recycling infrastructure, Panipat is emerging as a key hub for the manufacturing and export of technical textiles, poised to make a significant contribution to the national economy and the Vision 2047 roadmap. The Ministry of Textiles will actively participate, showcasing the government’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs through various schemes under the NTTM, accelerating the cluster’s transition towards high-value manufacturing. Senior officials from both central and state governments will attend to align policies and drive the sector’s growth agenda.

The Chintan Shivir will deliberate on critical themes essential for sustainable development, including Quality, Compliance, Financing, and technical advancements in Recycling, GeoTech, HomeTech, Sportech, and Indutech. The event will also launch key initiatives under the NTTM framework, enabling technology transfer to startups and industry partners, fostering indigenous innovation.

A highlight of the Shivir will be the launch of the National Flag Recycling Initiative, reinforcing circular economy principles and sustainability. By transforming strategic discussions into actionable strategies, the event aims to establish Panipat as a leader in advanced textile manufacturing, paving the way for the next generation of technical textiles in India.
