NMDC Steel Clocks 179% Revenue Growth in FY25
Hyderabad , May 30 , 2025: NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), one of India’s emerging integrated steel producers, has announced its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31 , 2025. The company has reported sharp growth in revenues on a year-on-year basis and sustained improvement sequentially, driven by the successful ramp-up of its state-of-the-art 3 MTPA integrated steel plant at Nagarnar.
In FY25 , NMDC Steel reported operating revenue of Rs 8,503.05 crore , registering a robust growth of 179% as compared to Rs 3,048.99 crore in FY24 . This rapid growth reflects the company’s impressive operating scale and transition to stable commercial production within its first full year of operations.
The Company recorded revenue of ₹ 2,838 crore in Q4 FY25 , up 54% from ₹ 1,845 crore in Q4 FY24 and up 34% quarter-on-quarter , indicating better capacity utilisation and strong presence in the domestic steel market.
It is noteworthy that NSL narrowed its net loss (after tax) to Rs 473 crore in the fourth quarter , which is much better than the loss of Rs 860 crore recorded in the same quarter last year and the loss of Rs 758 crore recorded in the third quarter of FY 2025. This represents a 38% reduction in sequential losses and reflects the company’s commitment to operational efficiency and cost justification.
