Mega Industry Job Fair in Bengaluru on January 6–7; Over 5,000 Vacancies to Be Filled

Bengaluru, Jan 06: In a significant initiative to bridge the gap between skilled youth and employment opportunities, India’s leading skill development and employment platforms—AISECT and Rojgar Mantra—are jointly organizing a Mega Industry Job Fair in collaboration with the N.A. Harris Foundation. The event will take place on January 6 and 7, 2026, at the Nandan Football Ground, Austin Town, Bengaluru.

This two-day job fair will facilitate on-the-spot recruitment for over 5,000 vacancies, with participation from more than 100 national and multinational companies across diverse sectors. The fair will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on both days and is expected to draw over 5,000 freshers and experienced professionals.

The initiative aims to provide a dynamic platform for youth to explore employment opportunities across industries while fostering a direct interface between talent and recruiters.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Executive Vice President of AISECT, remarked, “In a tech and industry hub like Bengaluru, such job fairs open new avenues for career advancement. AISECT is committed to narrowing the gap between skill and employment, and to preparing youth to be industry-ready. This initiative aligns with the vision of Skill India and marks a significant step forward.”

Meanwhile, AISECT’s Zonal Head – South, Mr. Rajat Chaturvedi, said that “this job fair is a significant opportunity for the youth of Karnataka and South India. An event of this scale in a city like Bengaluru not only opens new avenues for employment but also provides a platform to understand the real requirements of industries.” He added that “AISECT will continue to organise such initiatives to further strengthen the skill development and placement ecosystem in South India.”

Mr. Uddeepan Chatterjee, Head of Placements at AISECT, added that “the job fair will feature leading companies from banking, finance, manufacturing, telecom, IT, automobile, and service sectors. Candidates will benefit from a streamlined process of interviews, screening, and selection—all under one roof—saving both time and effort,” he said.

Prominent participating companies include Axis Bank, Equitas Bank, Arvind Mills, Tata STRIVE, Airtel, HCL Tech, TCS, LIC, Muthoot Finance, and KIA Motors, among many others.

This mega job fair is poised to be a landmark opportunity for youth in and around Bengaluru to connect directly with industry leaders and chart a promising path for their careers.
