KidZania India Wins ‘Most Innovative Ride’ at the 24th IAAPI Amusement Expo 2026

Mumbai, Mar 20: KidZania, the global leader in interactive edutainment, has been honoured as the winner in the ‘Most Innovative Ride‘ category at IAAPI National Awards for Excellence under Indoor Amusement Centre (IAC) during the 24th IAAPI Amusement Expo 2026, held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Goregaon, Mumbai.
The winning entry, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Centre at KidZania India, was conceptualised in close partnership with the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board to build authentic awareness of Madhya Pradesh as India‘s premier wildlife and adventure destination among urban families. The experience combines VR technology, motion simulation, narrative-led storytelling, and hands-on interactive learning, taking children on a virtual journey through Madhya Pradesh’s forests and wildlife habitat, culminating in a personalized postcard each young explorer takes home. Installed across KidZania Mumbai and KidZania Delhi NCR, it has quickly become the most loved activity at both venues, delighting children and parents alike and generating widespread buzz across social media.
Speaking on the recognition, Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer, KidZania India, said, “This recognition validates a philosophy we hold deeply at KidZania: that truly great experiences are built at the intersection of purpose and innovation. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Centre was designed as a gateway that plants the seed of curiosity in a child’s mind, entertaining, educating, and building a genuine emotional connection with a destination as magnificent as Madhya Pradesh. We are deeply grateful to the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board for their vision in co-creating this with us.”
As KidZania India continues to deepen its partnerships with valuable brand partners, to create experiences that go beyond entertainment, this recognition at India’s most prestigious amusement industry platform reaffirms its position as a trusted destination for experiential learning and role-play for children.
