Get Ready for An Insightful Journey with ‘James Webb: The $10 Billion Space Telescope’ and other shows this August
In this series PATRICK ARYEE reveals the planet’s most astonishing animals. Every habitat on Earth throws up different challenges that animals must overcome. Where there is a problem, evolution will find a way. Often the bigger the challenge – the more staggering the solution. Across the animal kingdom there are a few creatures that have pushed their bodies, behaviours and abilities to mind boggling limits. Animals that are so extraordinary they appear to defy the realms of possibility. EPISODE 2 – RAINFORESTS are the richest habitat on Earth, but this land of plenty is also a world awash with fiendish challenges for the animals that inhabit it. The plants here are locked in a constant battle for light. The dense tangled vegetation has forced creatures to evolve exceptional locomotion skills. And with so many other beasts here – defence and camouflage are paramount!
