Chairman Santosh Agarwal Infuses Rs 50 Cr Into Docbrella for Next Phase of Growth
Bengaluru, 27.09.2025: Docbrella, pioneering AI-anchored healthcare navigation-to-decision ecosystem, today announced a fund infusion of ₹50 cr from Chairman, Mr. Santosh Agrawal. Mr. Agarwal, a doyen of the healthcare industry, has over the past several years, has built enduring legacy brands such as Synecare, and MMS Holdings, growing both firms multifold, and with Docbrella, Santosh Agrawal, Chairman, Joydeep Biswas, Chief Growth Officer, and Sweta Mahapatra, board member at Docbrella look to close systemic gaps in the Indian healthcare ecosystem.
Docbrella provides surgical price benchmarking, hospital and doctor comparisons, and integrated access to insurance, ambulance, nursing, and medical equipment rentals, alongside a secure digital health locker and AI-driven decision support ecosystem. The platform was borne of the need to address these gaps while working with the Government, to better the nation’s healthcare situation. As billionaire philanthropist Nikhil Kamath said – “Most Indian’s are just one hospitalisation away from bankruptcy”.
