Anand Sweets Joins Swiggy’s ‘Plate Pooja’ with Rocky Singh to Celebrate Iconic Indian Flavours

Bengaluru, August 04, 2025: In a flavourful celebration of India’s culinary heritage, Anand Sweets & Savouries has been featured on ‘Plate Pooja’, Swiggy’s new original food series hosted by the legendary Rocky Singh.

The collaboration marks a special milestone in Anand Sweets’s long-standing relationship with Swiggy and brings the spotlight onto the brand’s extended food offerings—from iconic sweets to the rich flavours of Purani Dilli in the heart of Bengaluru.

Swiggy’s Plate Pooja is a new show format that pays homage to India’s most iconic food institutions, hosted by Rocky Singh—one of the country’s most beloved food voices. In the Bengaluru edition, Rocky dives into the diverse culinary universe of Anand Sweets, exploring both its traditional mithai and its lesser known, yet equally loved savoury experiences.

This feature also revisits Anand’s early adoption of Swiggy’s home delivery platform. As one of the first Bengaluru-based brands to embrace online ordering, Anand Sweets played a key role in redefining how traditional Indian sweets and snacks reached homes—blending legacy with convenience.

“This collaboration with Plate Pooja felt like a full-circle moment,” said Arvind Dadu, Managing Director, Anand Sweets. “We’ve been part of the Swiggy journey from its early days in Bengaluru and seeing our story come alive through Rocky’s lens was incredibly special. As someone who’s grown up in this business—from a 14-year-old behind the counter to leading the brand today—this was a reminder of how far we’ve come. From traditional mithai to Purani Dilli chaats and now even Middle Eastern delicacies, Anand has always been about great food and greater memories. We’re grateful to Swiggy and Rocky for helping us share that story—with their signature energy, warmth, and love for Indian flavours.”

The segment not only showcases Anand’s iconic sweets but also brings attention to Purani Dilli, the brand’s restaurant arm that serves authentic North Indian Street food in Bengaluru. It reinforces Anand’s philosophy: that a slice of North India can live in the South—through food, flavour, and storytelling.

As Anand continues to innovate while staying rooted in tradition, collaborations like these help bridge cultural flavours and generational memories—one plate at a time.
