A Festive Japanese Feast: Kuuraku Nexus Shantiniketan, Introduces a Christmas Special Menu
Bangalore, Dec 23: Kuuraku is celebrating the festive season with a limited-edition Christmas menu, thoughtfully crafted to bring together the comfort of Japanese flavours with the fun of interactive dining. From festive grilling moments to winter-special favourites, this seasonal spread captures the joy of the holidays while staying true to Kuuraku’s much-loved traditions, served with a cheerful Christmas twist. Available from 20th December exclusively at the Kuuraku Nexus Shantiniketan location, it’s the perfect way to dive into the holidays- Japanese style.
Guests can begin their meal with the Japanese Special Sushi Set, a three-style tasting that features Temari sushi, Inari sushi and hand-rolled sushi. Each style offers a different expression of Japanese technique and craft, making it a celebratory way to experience the variety of a traditional sushi table.
The festive experience continues with the Matcha Cocktail or Matcha Mocktail ritual, where guests can whisk their own matcha before choosing to enjoy it with a sake-based cocktail or a non alcoholic matcha blend. It is an aromatic, hands-on moment that captures the spirit of Japanese tea culture.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Japanese Special Dessert Set brings together three matcha-based desserts- matcha tiramisu, matcha dorayaki and matcha cheesecake. Light, balanced and delicately sweet, the trio makes for an elegant finish to the meal.
This Christmas also marks the release of an exclusive limited sake, available only during the festive period. Guests can explore its aroma and flavour profile with the restaurant’s sake sommelier, adding a touch of discovery to the dining experience.
Alongside the special menu, Kuuraku is hosting a series of Christmas-themed activities. Guests who arrive wearing a Santa hat will receive a complimentary serving of the signature yakitori, while everyone who visits gets a free turn at the Japanese gachapon machine, where each capsule comes with a prize.
The celebration brings together flavour, tradition and a sense of holiday joy, making it a warm and welcoming way to enjoy the season at Kuuraku.
