55th Indian Valuers Congress (IVC 2024)
Since its inception in 1968, the Institution of Valuers (IOV) has maintained its zeal and enthusiasm for the valuation profession and the professional advancement of valuers. Our commitment to this cause has remained unwavering over the decades.
For the last 55 years, the Institution of Valuers (IOV) has been organizing the Indian Valuers Congress (IVC), its annual event, at various locations across India. The journey began with our founder, Sh P.C. Goel ji, who held the first IOV seminar, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Shri P.C. Sethi, then Minister of State for Finance. His objective was to inspire valuer members to expand their activities and foster camaraderie through seminars and workshops.
To this day, we celebrate this vision wholeheartedly, even during the COVID era, resulting in IVC becoming a much-anticipated event for valuers and relevant stakeholders alike. The IVC provides a common platform for the valuers community, financial institutions, and government authorities to interact, exchange ideas, and enhance their knowledge in the field of valuation.
This year, we are excited to celebrate the 55th Indian Valuers Congress, themed “Empowering Valuers: Enhancing Capacity, Exploring Opportunities,” from **December 5-7, 2024**, against the scenic backdrop of Southern India at Gokulam Park Hotel & Convention Centre in Kochi, Kerala.
In alignment with India’s Skill India campaign, which empowers individuals with new skills and promotes financial independence, IOV is dedicated to advancing this initiative through our theme:
1. Enhancing Capacity: Emphasizing the importance of knowledge and skill development for valuers in our ever-evolving world. Our engaging technical sessions will feature eminent global experts with decades of experience in valuation.
2. Exploring Opportunities: Highlighting new avenues emerging from technological advancements. IVC 2024 serves as a prime networking platform, bringing valuation dignitaries together to foster professional relationships and create beneficial opportunities.
