Dilbir continues his legacy and wins the 2nd West Bengal State Ranking 2023
The 2nd West Bengal State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament had a perfect showdown which let everyone thrill to bits. Super amazing performance by the bowlers. Firstly, in Round 3 of the tournament, Dilbir Singh kept his cool and maintained the 1st spot, whereas Navneet used his experience and skills and rose up to the 2nd spot. Naveen Sharma had a slow start but played calmly for the 3rd spot. Lastly, for the 4th spot which saw 4 bowlers running till the last game and it was Abhijit Das who played his way to attain the 4th and final spot in the final 4.
*The 1st Knockout:*
Played between Dilbir Singh and Abhijit Das was a cracker. Abhijit had a small lead in the first game but Dilbir with all his experience came from behind to win the first Semis. (Dilbir Singh 350, Abhijit Das 347)
*The 2nd Knockout:*
Between Navneet Lahoti and Naveen Sharma it was a high scoring thriller which went till the last frame of game 2 which saw Navneet Lahoti as the eventual winner. (Navneet Lahoti 397, Naveen Sharma 375)
*The Finals:*
Between Dilbir Singh and Navneet Lahoti. The finals saw to heavyweights locking horns to be the No. 1. Unlike the semis which went till the last frame, the finals went till the last shot of the tournament, where Dilbir struck a beautiful strike to win the tournament from Navneet’s clutches. All in all a great show put up by the bowler who kept there spirits high till the last shot.
