Dnyaan Prasad Global University (DPGU) by Dr D Y Patil Unitech Society Signs MOUs with The Ritz-Carlton, Conrad, and Sheraton Grand Pune to Foster Industry-Academia Collaboration
Pune, India Mar 13: Dnyaan Prasad Global University (DPGU) School for Hospitality and Tourism, has signed strategic MOU with three leading hospitality brands, The Ritz–Carlton Pune, Conrad Pune, and Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel, to provide students an opportunity for practical exposure in the form of internships, on-the-job training, and ultimately job placement in the respective hotel environments. All of the three brands are globally recognised as leaders in the hospitality industry.
In addition to providing students with hands-on experience through all hotel operations, service excellence, and hospitality management practices, this collaboration will facilitate faculty upskilling through guest lectures, industry visits, and knowledge-sharing sessions, ensuring academic programs remain aligned with evolving hospitality industry standards.
Commenting on the partnerships, Dr. Somnath P. Through these partnerships, DPGU is demonstrating its commitment to providing experiential education and establishing strong relationships with the hospitality industry, in order to equip students to be competent professionals in the global hospitality industry.
