NMIMS Indore to Host ACM India Chapter Summit 2025 on Human-AI Partnership

Indore, Dec 17: SVKM’s NMIMS Indore will host the ACM India Chapter Summit 2025 on December 19 and 20 at its Indore campus, bringing together academic leaders, industry experts, and computing professionals from across the country. The two-day national summit is being organised by the School of Technology Management and Engineering (STME) in collaboration with ACM India, the world’s largest computing society.

Centred on the theme ‘The Human-AI Partnership: Shaping Human Capital for an AI Era,’ the summit will focus on emerging trends in artificial intelligence, technology education, and workforce readiness, drawing perspectives from academia, industry, and the professional computing community.

The programme will include keynote talks, panel discussions, and interactive engagements focused on how AI is being used today and what it means for engineers, educators, and students. Alongside these sessions, students and faculty members will take part in discussions and collaborative activities led by ACM India and ACM-W chapters.

The summit brings together speakers from academia and industry, including Prof. Suhas Joshi, Director, IIT Indore; Prof. Sashikumaar Ganesan, IISc Bangalore and Founder, ZenteiQ AiTech Innovations Pvt. Ltd.; Dr Srinivas Padmanabhuni, Co-founder, testAIng; Mr M. Sashikumar, Former Director, CDAC Mumbai; and Dr Manasi Patwardhan, Principal Scientist, TCS Research.

Commenting on the summit, Dr Anshuman Jaswal, Director, SVKM’s NMIMS Indore, said, “The summit provides an important space for dialogue on how human capability and artificial intelligence can evolve together. It will encourage meaningful collaboration among academia, industry, and the wider computing community, while benefiting students and faculty and contributing to the national computing ecosystem.”

The ACM India Chapter Summit 2025 aims to promote excellence in computing education, encourage innovation within the national technology ecosystem, and facilitate meaningful interaction among students, faculty members, and professionals.

In addition to the keynote speakers, the summit will see participation from ACM India and ACM-W leadership, senior academicians from leading institutions, including IISc, IIT Indore, and Manipal University Jaipur, as well as industry professionals from organisations such as Oracle India.
