Dr. Bhargav Resigns as National Deputy Chairman of the People Forum of India; Revokes All Team Appointments
Dec 03: Dr. Bhargav Mallapa, who earlier held the position of National Deputy Chairman and In-Charge of Administration in the People Forum of India, has resigned from his post with immediate effect.
In his official communication addressed to Dr S. Manimozhiyaan, National Chairman, Dr Bhargav announced his decision to step down from all responsibilities within the organisation. Alongside his resignation, he has also revoked all appointments issued under his authority on his official letterhead. These appointments are now considered null and void ab initio, in line with organisational governance norms intended to avoid operational ambiguity.

Dr. Bhargav stated that he had repeatedly requested essential documents demonstrating the organisation’s legitimacy and operational status. As these documents were not provided, he found himself unable to respond to inquiries from members or effectively support organisational growth. The absence of such documentation, he noted, made the continuation of his duties untenable.
He further clarified that any actions taken within the organisation henceforth—including appointments made by the National Chairman—shall not render him liable. Likewise, any actions taken during his tenure without his knowledge shall remain the sole responsibility of the National Chairman, in accordance with standard principles governing post-resignation liability.
Dr Bhargav emphasised that his resignation, along with the revocation of team appointments, is intended to prevent any potential administrative complications. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the organisation and reaffirmed his goodwill toward its mission. He also stated that he remains available to support a smooth transition, provided the previously requested documentation is furnished. The resignation is irrevocable upon submission.
