Supertails Partners with Indiranagar Canine Squad to Protect Bengaluru’s Street Dogs this World Rabies Day
Bengaluru, 26 September 2025: Supertails, India’s trusted digital-first pet care brand, is extending its care beyond homes to the streets of Bengaluru this World Rabies Day. In collaboration with the Indiranagar Canine Squad, Supertails is hosting a free anti-rabies vaccination drive for community dogs at its Koramangala Pet Clinic & Grooming Centre. From 9 AM to 5 PM on 28th September, rescuers, feeders, and animal lovers are invited to bring street dogs under their care, ensuring protection from one of the world’s most deadly diseases. The initiative reflects Supertails’ belief that pets and streeties deserve access to quality healthcare and compassion, because at Supertails, every tail deserves care.
Rabies remains one of the deadliest yet most preventable diseases, claiming thousands of lives every year across India. Street dogs, who form an inseparable part of our urban landscape, are especially vulnerable when left unvaccinated, putting both animals and humans at risk. As Bengaluru is home to a large community dog population, preventive action is not just about animal welfare but also about public health and safer neighborhoods. By offering free anti-rabies vaccinations, Supertails, along with the Indiranagar Canine Squad, is ensuring that community dogs receive timely protection, turning compassion into concrete action.
Vineet Khanna, Co-founder, Supertails, said, “This drive is about more than vaccinations, it’s about dignity, safety, and compassion for the animals who share our streets. Community dogs protect our neighborhoods in quiet, everyday ways, and it’s our responsibility to protect them in return. By vaccinating streeties against rabies, we believe in saving lives and also creating healthier, kinder communities where people and animals can truly thrive.”
Supertails is not only protecting community dogs but also empowering the rescuers, feeders, and animal lovers who care for them every day. By providing free vaccinations and dedicated on-ground support with the Indiranagar Canine Squad, Supertails is making preventive healthcare more accessible and enabling Bengaluru’s animal welfare community to continue its vital work with greater ease and confidence.
Through this initiative, Supertails and the Canine Squad aim not only to protect Bengaluru’s community dogs from rabies but also to build greater awareness of preventive healthcare as a shared responsibility. This collaboration reflects Supertails’ commitment to making quality veterinary care accessible beyond pet homes, extending to the streeties who are an integral part of our neighborhoods, and honoring the everyday efforts of feeders, rescuers, and volunteers who keep compassion alive in the city.
