IndianOil’s CSR Initiative Brings Cutting-Edge Diagnostic Systems to SVIMS, Tirupati
Hyderabad, July 17th, 2025: IndianOil, as part of its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and nation-building beyond energy, has extended a significant CSR grant of ₹22.01 Crores to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati. The grant facilitated the procurement of two world-class diagnostic systems: a 3 Tesla MRI Scanner (MAGNETOM Vida) and a 4D CT Simulation System (SOMATOM go. Sim), enhancing the healthcare capabilities of the premier tertiary care hospital and medical university run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The virtual inauguration message was delivered by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Hon’ble Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and was formally marked in the presence of Shri V. Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), IndianOil; Shri Bollineni Rajagopala Naidu, Chairman, TTD; TUDA Chairman and TTD Board Member Mr. Dollar Divakar Reddy, senior officials of TTD including the Director-cum-Vice Chancellor of SVIMS, Dr. R. V. Kumar.
The 3 Tesla MRI system, procured at approximately ₹14 crores, and the 4D CT Simulation system, costing ₹8 crores, will enable SVIMS to provide advanced, high-precision diagnostic and treatment planning services. These systems are projected to benefit over 2.5 lakh patients annually—primarily from economically disadvantaged backgrounds—by offering early diagnosis and affordable, personalized medical care.
