Chennai – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG (“Daimler Truck”), today announced a significant strategic partnership with Gainwell Trucking Private Limited (“GTPL”), part of the Gainwell Group. Within this collaboration, GTPL will serve as an authorized channel partner for BharatBenz mining trucks, focusing on the vehicles’ sales and service, especially for the brand’s high-performance 3532CM (8×4) model.

As part of this collaboration, GTPL will cover all major mining states like North, East, North East states including Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat states in India. The new partner will serve all mining segments including iron ore, coal, limestone operations, and their associated transportation needs.

The service centres will offer comprehensive maintenance and repair services for BharatBenz mining trucks, including preventive and scheduled programs, on-site repairs, and express service options, aiming to minimize disruption in operations. Along with Gainwell’s extensive spare parts inventory in strategically located distribution centres across major mining regions, this will ensure quick turnaround time and reduced vehicle downtime for BharatBenz’s customers.

With the mining industry being one of the core pillars for DICV, we aim to provide existing and future BharatBenz customers a premium sales and service experience. The partnership with GTPL also provides BharatBenz customers an extensive after-sales service and repairs program, with quick turnaround times minimising disruptions to operations. This will further help our customers achieve a new standard in the mining sector, by improving productivity and operational efficiency.”

Sunil Chaturvedi, Chairman & Managing Director, Gainwell Trucking Private Limited, said, “We are excited to partner with DICV and its BharatBenz brand. Through this collaboration, we aim to bring unparalleled value to our customers, offering exceptional service support for the best-in-class commercial vehicles in the Indian mining sector.
