The Scindia School Marks Makar Sankranti with Vibrant Celebrations and Unity
On January 16th, 2025, The Scindia School celebrated the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti in a grand manner, creating an unforgettable experience for students. The event featured a vibrant array of performances and activities, designed to make the day truly special for all participants.
The celebration began with a morning assembly, where Principal Ajay Singh eloquently spoke about the cultural significance of Makar Sankranti, as well as the festivals of Pongal and Bihu. Following the assembly, the entire school community gathered at the iconic Oval and Madhav fields for a much-awaited kite-flying event. The afternoon sky was transformed into a vibrant tapestry of colorful kites, soaring high in celebration of the harvest season and symbolizing aspirations and collective joy.
