Allen Online’s Aarav D’Souza Scores Perfect in American Math Olympiad

Mumbai,26th December 2024: Allen Career Institute Online proudly announces that Aarav D’souza, one of its PNCF (Pre-Foundation Career Foundation) students, has achieved a perfect score in the prestigious American Math Olympiad (AMO) 2024. Aarav’s exceptional achievement places him among the top-performing students globally.

MEdalsThe American Math Olympiad (AMO) is an international mathematics competition for students from Grade 2 to Grade 12, organized jointly by the Singapore International Math Contests Centre (SIMCC) and Southern Illinois University (SIU). The competition aims to deepen students’ understanding of mathematics and foster a love for the subject. AMO’s framework is based on the US Common Core Standards, with competition papers designed by leading educators from Southern Illinois University.
This year, the AMO witnessed participation from 37,055 students representing 39 countries and 5,340 schools. Aarav stood out as the only Indian student to achieve a perfect score, joining an elite group of high scorers from nations such as China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Aarav’s consistent excellence is evident, as he also secured a gold medal in AMO 2023 and claimed the top rank in India at the Institute for Promotion of Mathematics (IPM) competition this year.
In addition to his remarkable performance in mathematics, Aarav was honored with a Letter of Appreciation from the Honorable Prime Minister of India during the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 event, further solidifying his status as a young achiever.
