Little champions of green urge everyone to respect the rivers

Bengaluru Feb 2023: The little preschoolers of The Bangalore School, a popular pre-school in Whitefield known for its green practices celebrated their annual day with a difference.

The little green crusaders put up an enthralling performance on the rivers of India and how we must all respect the rivers. The musical theatrical production called ‘Sanskriti Sangam’ was a tribute to the magical life lines – the divine rivers of India

The Production was directed and choreographed by the Kids Choupal Team led by Co-Founder Mr.Dhiraj Singh Patel and saw little pre schoolers rattle off long dialogues to perfection to the wonder of the live audience who didn’t stop clapping in appreciation.

“Rivers are accorded a sacred status; perennial rivers are regarded with reverence and this reverence is ingrained in our Indian DNA. Our rivers need our immediate attention before it’s too late, our little green leaders indeed have taken up the charge to spread this message matching with one of the goals achievable Sustainable Developmental goals No.13 & 14 (climate action & life below water respectively)” says Ms.Usha Iyer, Founder-Director of The Bangalore School, who aiso presided over the function.

The Annual Day was meticulously planned by the students and staff of the school showcasing the year’s activities to the parents and guests followed by the ceremonial function.

Mr.Tejas Pattni- Chief Guest -VP of Sales & Marketing Education World was the chief guest. Among the other dignitaries present were Mr.Shajan Samuel -Guest of Honour- Vice President and Head of Channel Business at USDC, Mrs.Mythili Nirvan -Illustrious guest & -Founder- of PrachaR Media Solutions Private Limited, Edtech entrepreneurs, Principals from esteemed schools, members of the Parent Council Committee parents, and students.

Indeed, the performance by TBS torchbearers gave the most crucial message – As responsible citizens, it is our duty to save the rivers, not only for us but for our future generation as well.
