It will provide a unique opportunity to showcase India as both an engine of global economic growth and a driver for global consumption, supported by a conducive and investment-friendly environment, and a skilled workforce. IEW 2023 will provide an unprecedented opportunity for regional, and international leaders and CEOs to come together for strategic policy-making and technical knowledge sharing.

Commenting on the partnership Mr Neeraj Balani, Managing Director, International SOS Indian Subcontinent said, “It gives us a great pleasure to be the official medical support partner at the India Energy Week 2023 under India’s G20 Presidency. Our global medical experts and healthcare staff is committed to providing the best-of-class medical support to IEW attendees and conference delegates. This event is a great collaboration initiative by the government and the industry to march ahead in our Atmanirbhar approach on the energy front.

He further said, “India has made tremendous strides in the Energy Sector including making India an investment-friendly destination in the Exploration and Production Sector, energy infrastructure and shifting the manufacturing centre to India. On the back of the global commodities supercycle, the end to COVID restrictions, rapid advancements in technology-driven innovation and renewed focus from the Indian government on the energy sectors, International SOS is gearing up for a period of resurgent growth in the region.

These factors coupled with a growing sustainability agenda in the sector open up substantial opportunities for us given that we have been supporting oil and gas clients in meeting their stringent health and safety requirements for over 30 years. From a sustainability point of view, we support Oil & Gas organizations to meet their Duty of Care agenda and implement public health programs that positively impact the communities around the project site. We are looking forward to providing our support and participating in the upcoming India Energy Week”

55% of the world’s energy supply is provided by oil and gas companies and $3.2T is the global net worth of the oil and gas sector. The event will witness the convening of global policymakers and energy leaders to drive the dialogue on India’s efforts to address rising energy demand through a convergence of biofuels, green hydrogen, renewable energy (RE) and conventional energy. India is projected to witness the largest increase in energy demand of any country over the next two decades, as its economy continues to grow and create opportunities for its people. As a rapidly developing country, and the world’s third-largest energy consumer, India’s energy transition will play a pivotal role in global energy markets.
