Euronics Gurugram Plant

This Gurugram plant features an annual production capacity of 2 lakh units. Along with Euronics’ other existing plants in Jamnagar, Greater Noida, and Bhiwadi, it will enable the company to meet 80% of its global supply requirements through domestic production. In line with the Indian Government’s ‘Make In India’ campaign, the company plans to build capabilities to manufacture 100% of its domestic and global product supply in India, over the next 3 years.

Established in 2002 by seasoned first-generation entrepreneur Viknesh Jain, Euronics is India’s largest brand in India’s public and commercial washroom sector. Scaling parallelly with the expansive growth of India’s public infrastructure, commercial real estate, and retail sectors, the brand commands an estimated 60% market share in India as of today, and has catered to over 500,000 customers, including several Fortune 500 companies. It has recently undertaken washroom automation for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya; Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Center); New Parliament Building; Airports across Ayodhya, Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, and Bangalore, among many other cities; the Supreme Court of India; Smart City projects in India; AIIMS (PAN India), and several other developments.

Speaking on the launch of this plant, Euronics’ MD & CEO Viknesh Jain said, “We are extremely optimistic about India’s public infrastructure sector, and are set to meet its washroom automation needs with 100% domestically manufactured accessories within the next 3 years. The Gurugram plant has significantly enhanced our production capabilities, accounting for 50% of our current average order volumes. With the Government’s ambitious stance towards Smart City projects, MICE infrastructure development, and leisure & business tourism growth, India is on the brink of a new revolution in its hygiene and sanitation industry. As an early market entrant closely engaged with several public projects, we understand India’s hygiene needs and are well-positioned to not only meet them but also set new quality standards with automated and eco-friendly washroom solutions.”

In addition to advancements in Euronics’ production capabilities, the Gurugram plant also highlights Euronics’ commitment to the country’s socioeconomic development. As India’s largest washroom automation manufacturing facility, it will generate significant employment opportunities, providing jobs to around 200 blue-collar workers and contributing to the state and national economy.

“Our substantial investment in this new plant goes beyond merely increasing our production capabilities,” added Viknesh. “It represents our deep commitment to fostering innovation while contributing significantly to the economic growth by creating numerous job opportunities, thereby boosting local employment and driving economic development. This facility is a cornerstone of our strategic vision to blend technological advancement with community enhancement, ensuring that we continue to lead the industry while supporting the communities we operate in.”
