East West Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd. appoints Insurance industry veteran Mr. Pawan Garg as Director & Chief Executive Officer

Mumbai, January 2023: East West Assist Insurance TPA (EWA), one of the fastest growing TPAs, has announced appointment of Mr. Pawan Garg as CEO of the company. He has taken over as CEO from immediate effect and will spearhead the growth journey for EWA that provides third-party administration for healthcare insurance industry.

Pawan is an insurance industry veteran with over 18 years of experience, primarily in the Employee Health & Benefits space. Prior to this, Pawan with Mercer Marsh Benefits / Marsh India, a leading benefits consulting and insurance broking, in various leadership roles. He has been an experienced Employee Benefits Specialist with a demonstrated history of working extensively with brokers, Health Insurers, and clients. Pawan completed his Post Graduation from Birla Institute of Technology with a specialisation in Insurance & Risk Management. He is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India.

In the competitive health insurance third party administration space, EWA’s growth journey is testimony to their philosophy of meaningful growth. Over the last 2-3 years, they have made technology integral to their operations and delivery, and used it to enable faster member onboarding, lower turn-around time for claims processing, and a robust response mechanism for query resolution.
